Business Development Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base, strengthen partnerships with architects, interior designers, builders, and contractors, and drive sales for high-value marble products. You will play a key role in achieving our business growth objectives through strategic planning, market outreach, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new customers including architects, interior designers, real estate developers, hotel groups, contractors, and HNI clients.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to grow the market for Italian and Imported marble across key cities in India.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle – from lead generation, presentations, pricing, negotiation, to closing deals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business.
  • Work closely with the marketing team for exhibitions, campaigns, and digital outreach plans.
  • Conduct market research to understand competition, pricing, and emerging trends in the marble and luxury interiors sector.
  • Generate and present monthly reports on sales performance and targets.
  • Visit client sites when required and assist in product selection and technical guidance.
  • Coordinate with factory and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA Preferred) in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in marble, tiles, building materials, or construction industry.
  • Strong network of industry contacts (architects, builders, interior designers) is a big plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven.
  • Willingness to travel domestically, as required.
